Insomnia, Regina's Best Foot and hand reflexology, Hormone Imbalance, Headaches, Anxiety, Constipation, Allergies, Sinusitis, Back/Sciatic Pain, Increased Circulation, Improved Nerve Function, stress

Could you benefit from taking time for yourself to relax, reduce stress from your busy life, or even receive healing support for a health condition? If so... reflexology can help.

Reflexology is a holistic therapy that is deeply relaxing and takes you from your sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) to your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and repair). This allows the body to use its own innate natural ability to heal itself.

Based on the principal that there are reflex points on the hands and feet that correspond to every gland and organ in the body, reflexology works with these reflexes to encourage your body to naturally restore its own healthy balance.

Many of the health problems that we face today are stress related illnesses and by reducing the stress in the body, healing can begin.

Common conditions that have been helped through reflexology are:

  • Insomnia
  • Hormone Imbalance
  • Headaches
  • Anxiety
  • Constipation
  • Allergies
  • Sinusitis
  • Back/Sciatic Pain
  • Increased Circulation
  • Improved Nerve Function...And Many More

What Can I Expect to Experience During a Reflexology Session?

Each person’s experience is different and even each session can be different. People often report feeling a general sense of relaxation, can fall asleep or even feel an increased awareness of the area of the body that is being worked on. In addition, feeling a lightness or tingling, cold or chilled, or even a sense of opening or energy moving, are all common experiences. Since reflexology activates your body’s own healing, you will experience whatever you need.

Is it Common to Experience Emotions?

Just like music, touch can sometimes bring feelings to the surface to be released. So you may find yourself experiencing emotions like sadness or joy, or even nothing at all. If emotions are brought to the surface, don’t be alarmed; simply allow yourself to feel whatever is needed. I will monitor and guide you throughout your session and when necessary, adjust your treatment accordingly.

Is it Okay to Talk During My Treatment?

Yes it is fine to talk. Many people find that they receive the most benefits from this deeply relaxing treatment if they let go of everyday worries and concerns, while others find that talking things out can be very healing. This is your time to do whatever you need.

How Will I Feel After My Treatment?

The treatment will end with comforting strokes of the foot. It is important that you feel comforted and nurtured, so that you receive whatever you need. You should drink water, rest if necessary and pay attention to your body’s needs for the next few hours.

Disclaimer

It is important to know that Reflexologists do not diagnose or treat any illness, disease or condition. One of the theories of reflexology is that the body will nurture and repair itself once released from stress. If the body is extremely stressed, I may refer you to a health professional or other treatments. Reflexology should never be regarded as a replacement for professional medical advice.
